This stainless steel wick holder is used to secure the cotton wicks for the pouring and setting process of your candles. It will will hold the wick upright in the jar. It features a number of pre-pressed grooves that is designed to rest securely inside the top of the candle jar to ensure that the wick stays in place. The added slots enables the wicks to be locked in to keep the needed tension. There are also two outer slots that ensures more accuracy when making double wick candles.

Using a metal wick placeholder ensures that your candle wicks stay centred and upright during the pouring and cooling process.
- Ensure you have your metal wick placeholders, candle wicks, wax, candle containers or moulds, a double boiler or melting pot, and other candle-making tools.
- Make sure that the candle containers or moulds are clean and dry.
- Select the appropriate size and type of wick for your candle.
- Adhere the wick to the bottom centre of your candle container or mould using a glue dot. Press firmly to secure it.
- Place the metal wick placeholder over the top of your container or mould. This metal wick placeholders have a central slot or slot to hold the wick in place, it also provides it extra slots for double wicking.
- Thread the wick through the slot in the metal wick placeholder. Ensure the wick is straight and centred.
- Take care when working with hot wax to avoid burns.
- Ensure the workspace is stable and free of flammable materials.
