- Measure out the diffuser base oil in a separate container.
- Measure out the Fragrance oil recommended ratio (based on the oil recommendation of the IFRA % for each fragrance used.). IE – 100ml diffuser jar = 10ml fragrance and 90-100ml base oil.
- First pour in the fragrance carefully, then top up with the base oil.
- For a stronger scent, a higher % of fragrance can be applied.
- Use a suitable diffuser specific container.
- Add the reeds, and turn them once a week for a stronger scent throw. Fibre reeds – 5 reeds in a 200ml diffuser.
- Own testing is required.
NOTE* The more reeds that is added will speed up the absorption of the product.
Special Note: Some fragrances are very potent in their composition, and needs a lesser % with the base oil. When the product is blended at to a high % ratio, the base oil will turn a milky colour and the fragrance will not blend 100%, IE The fragrance will float at the top – rectify this with adding more base oil until the mixture turns completely clear.
