The lesson includes a kit with all of the ingredients needed to create your very first soap loaf.

Time: 10am – 2pm ( Please arrive 30 mins prior to the class) Safe parking is available at the venue. Coffee and tea included.

Important notes:

• Please note to select one of the listed fragrances, IE if you select a fragrance category, we will pack according to the fragrance.
• Once you have placed your order, please indicate if you want the kit delivered, or receive it on the day. Normal courier costs apply.
• We do not sell any products on the day, and all products can be ordered via the website after the lesson.

Corona Virus Safety :

• All students to have an applicable masks & visors.
• All students must bring their own sanitiser, we will have available at the door.
• Notify us if you cannot attend.
• Max of 12 students per class to ensure social distancing.

What YOU will learn:

• Basic principles and science of soapmaking
• Different qualities of different oils to be used in soapmaking
• Walk through the website
• Lye Safety
• Demonstration of making, unmoulding and cutting
• How to formulate your own recipe and how to use the recipe calculator
• 1 soap design (in the pot swirl with white and 1 other colour)
• The loaf mould will yield 10 soaps.
• Indemnity form to be signed before the lesson.

• 1x Loaf Mould
• 1x Beginner Soap Premix
• 1x 500g Caustic Soda
• 1x Fragrance (Champagne rose/French Lavender/French Pear)
• 1x Mica (Rose/Yellow Green/Violet)
• 1x Titanium Dioxide
• X1 2L jug

What to bring with:

• Notebook & Pen
• Apron/wear old clothes
• Measuring spoons
• Silicone spatula/s
• 2x Pairs of latex/nitril/rubber gloves
• Paper towels
• Safety goggles   – you will not be able to do the lesson without this.
• Extra 1x 1liter jug
• Small Digital scale
• Stick Blender
