Description

Create the perfect wax melts for any occasion with our WAX MELT kit, it includes every item you need to make beautiful melts!  This kit is also an ideal gift.

 

Additionally, color and additives such as Shea Butter can be used to make your melts, to make them extra special!

In the Kit

  • 1kg Soi Wax
  • 100ml Fragrance 
  • 10 x Clamshell moulds(*6 cavity)

Recipe

What ingredients you will need :

  • 500g soy wax ( here we would recommended C3, S100, Soi ) 
  • 40ml fragrance per 500g on 8% fragrance ratio
  • 5 x Clamshell moulds

 

Equipment you will need:

  • Double boiler (Pot within a pot WITH WARM water to melt the wax – Bain Marie, similar to melting chocolate)
  • Wax
  • Fragrance
  • Pouring jug ( ANY heat resistant jug can be used )
  • Clamshell moulds

Easy to follow Instructions:

  • Add 500g wax flakes to the pot ( bain marie )
  • On a low temperature, melt the flakes slowly (If you have a thermometer this would be at around 65 degrees Celsius.)
  • Pour the melted wax into a pouring jug, and add 40ml of fragrance. 
  • Once the fragrance is blended for 1 minute, gently pour into the clamshell moulds.
  • Be sure not to pour this while too hot.
  • Leave them to dry overnight, and only close them once completely solid.
  • One they have been cured, gently break off a block, place in a burner, and enjoy.
