Recommended for Cold Process: Yes.  Our in-house testing was conducted following the usage rate of 1 tablespoon of mica per 1kg of oil.  Please note that you should always conduct your own testing and can add more or less colourant to achieve your desired colour.

Instructions to use in Cold Process: Disperse the appropriate amount of Mica in a light weight oil in a 1:3 ratio and add to your soap. IE. If you are using 1kg of oils, disperse 1 tablespoon of Mica in 3 tablespoons of lightweight oil and add a tablespoon at a time until desired colour is achieved.

Recommended for Hot Process:  Yes.  Disperse the appropriate amount of Mica in a light weight oil in a 1:3 ratio and add to your soap. IE. If you are using 1kg of oils, disperse 1 tablespoon of Mica in 3 tablespoons of lightweight oil and add a tablespoon at a time until desired colour is achieved.  Colour should be added after cooking, just before moulding your Hot process soap.

Recommended for Melt and Pour:  Yes.  Our in-house testing was conducted following the usage rate of 1 teaspoon of mica per 1kg of Soap.  Please note that you should always conduct your own testing and can add more or less colourant to achieve your desired colour.

Instructions to use in Melt and Pour: Disperse the appropriate amount of Mica in Isopropyl Alcohol in a 1:3 ratio and add to your soap. IE. If you are using 1kg of Melt and Pour Soap, disperse 1 teaspoon of Mica in 3 teaspoons of Isopropyl Alcohol and add a teaspoon at a time until desired colour is achieved.

Titanium Instructions to use in Cold Process:

Disperse the appropriate amount of Titanium Dioxide in water at a 1:3 ratio and add to your soap. IE. If you are using 1kg of oils, disperse 1 tablespoon of Titanium Dioxide in 3 tablespoons of water and add a tablespoon at a time until desired shade of white is achieved.

Recommended for Hot Process:  Yes

Disperse the appropriate amount of Titanium Dioxide in water at a 1:3 ratio and add to your soap. IE. If you are using 1kg of oils, disperse 1 tablespoon of Titanium Dioxide in 3 tablespoons of water and add a tablespoon at a time until desired shade of white is achieved.  Titanium dioxide can be added after cooking, just before moulding the Hot process soap or after adding your lye solution if you want to whiten your entire

 

 

Note: Always be cautious when working with lye.  Keep out of reach of children & pets.  Own testing / recipes is required.
