LX wicks, perfect for pillar candles, reduce carbon deposits and afterglow. Sold in 10m lengths; sustainers sold separately.

The LX range wick specifically manufactured for moulded / pillar candles.  The self-trimming wick stance minimizes or eliminates carbon deposit formation and greatly reduces afterglow. We supply this wick in 10m lengths, NOTE that the sustainers are sold separately.

The LX wicks combine the highest grade wick materials, state of the art braiding and spooling technology as well as tried, tested and approved chemical treatments to provide the cleanest and safest possible burn in the materials in question. The materials and processes also ensure consistent product quality from start to finish and from batch to batch. LX Wick is ideal for improving paraffin and vegetable waxes’ burning because it burns with a tighter controlled flame.

* The candle diameters listed are suggestions based on standard results. They should be taken as a starting point for testing purposes only, as burning rates may well differ due to variations between different candle systems.

Select the correct wick size from the chart to use in moulded candle making. Note that we sell the sustainers separately for these wicks and self-assembly is required, where applicable on the specific product.

Measure the length of the wick needed by placing the mould next to it, keep at least 4-5cm available at each of the ends, to ensure that then threading the wick, there is ample length on each side to secure the wick into place.

  • Prioritize safety by wearing goggles and gloves during product preparation.
  • Access the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and step by step instructions for comprehensive safety guidelines.
  • Exercise caution when working with ANY warmed up wax product. Use it exclusively within recommended percentages and temperatures for candles.
  • Take care to avoid damage to polished, painted, plastic, or leather surfaces when using wax products. Follow instructions diligently.
  • Store the product out of reach of children and pets. Individuals with perfume sensitivity should use the product cautiously.
  • Always label a candle with a warning labels
