Frais is a Locally manufactured fast moving base oil suitable for reed diffusers only. Not suitable for wood top diffuser blocks.

This Diffuser Base is a liquid to mix with fragrance oils to create reed diffusers.

There are many advantages to Frais Diffuser Base oil.

Lower fragrance % ratios.
Fast absorbing, intense fragrance throw.
Compatible with natural reeds, fibre reeds, and alternative diffusion methods.

Please take note of the usage instructions for the Frais Diffuser Base Oil, as each fragrance has a different level of viscosity, and would need to be made within the given guidelines. Own testing is required to determine the usage ratio for your specific diffuser.

Measure out the diffuser base oil in a separate container.
Measure out the Fragrance oil recommended ratio (based on the oil recommendation of the IFRA % for each fragrance used.).
IE – 100ml diffuser jar = 10ml fragrance and 90-100ml base oil.
First pour in the fragrance carefully, then top up with the base oil.
For a stronger scent, a higher % of fragrance can be applied.
Use a suitable diffuser specific container.
Add the reeds, and turn them once a week for a stronger scent throw.
Natural reeds – 6-8 reeds
Fibre reeds – 5-7 reeds.
Own testing is required.

The more reeds that is added will speed up the absorption of the product.

Special Note: Some fragrances are very potent in their composition, and needs a lesser % with the base oil. When the product is blended at to a high % ratio, the base oil will turn a milky colour and the fragrance will not blend 100%, IE The fragrance will float at the top – rectify this with adding more base oil until the mixture turns completely clear.

Prioritize safety by wearing goggles and gloves during product preparation.
Access the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and the IFRA Document for comprehensive safety guidelines.
Exercise caution when working with any fragrance oils. Use it exclusively within recommended percentages indicated on the IFRA Document.
Take care to avoid damage too polished, painted, plastic, or leather surfaces when using fragrance oils.
Follow instructions diligently.
Store the product out of reach of children and pets. Individuals with perfume sensitivity should use the product cautiously, it is advisable to make use of a safety mask.
Do not ingest, or use for body application if not specified by the IFRA document.
