Sand Wax is a 100% natural, eco-friendly, and biodegradable plant wax derived from hydrogenated palm oil. It offers versatility in candle making: simply pour the small granules into containers, add a wick, and effortlessly create a clean-burning candle. Alternatively, melt Sand Wax to achieve a stunning crystalline effect, allowing for endless creativity in crafting unique candles. The pouch includes 3 long wicks, that must be cut into 3 – 4 pieces of the same length, as the wicks are placed into the wax from the top centre.

The sand wax can also be used to make beautiful crystalline finished candles ( here you would melt the wax, and pour in a similar method as when making soy wax candles)

User Instructions for Sand Wax:

Safety First

Make sure to place your candle container on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Keep it away from Children and pets.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Included

500g 100% Natural sand wax
3 x Wicks ( the wicks needs to be cut into smaller leghts)

Preparing the Candle

Tear the pouch along the notch.
Take out the wick bag.
Pour the sand wax into a clean container suitable for candle making.
Insert the wicks into the sand wax, leaving about 0.3 – 0.5 cm above the surface. Use as many wicks as needed for the desired burn pool.
Reseal the pouch with any remaining sand wax.

Lighting the Candle

Light the wicks using a lighter or match.

Refresh

Pull the wick out with the hardened wax.
Trim the burnt tip of the wick.
Reuse the wick until it’s too short for further burns.

Be Creative

Custom Shapes: Pour sand wax into different molds to create unique shapes like hearts, stars, or animals.
Scented Candles: Add a few drops of essential or fragrance oils to the sand wax surrounding the wick for a delightful aroma.
Layered Candles: Create visually stunning candles by layering different coloured sand waxes.

Note: Always keep an eye on the candle while it’s burning and follow standard candle safety precautions.

Prioritise safety by wearing goggles and gloves during product preparation.
Access the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and step by step instructions for comprehensive safety guidelines.
Exercise caution when working with ANY warmed up wax product. Use it exclusively within recommended percentages and temperatures for candles.
