Titanium dioxide, also known as titanium(IV) oxide or titania, is the inorganic compound with the chemical formula TiO ₂. When used as a pigment, it is called titanium white, Pigment White 6, or CI 77891. It is a white, water-insoluble solid
One of the most popular colorants in soap making is titanium dioxide, which gives soap a white color. It's commonly used to transform soap from cream to white, or to lighten other colors.
Instructions to use in Cold Process:
Disperse the appropriate amount of Titanium Dioxide in water at a 1:3 ratio and add to your soap. IE. If you are using 1kg of oils, disperse 1 tablespoon of Titanium Dioxide in 3 tablespoons of water and add a tablespoon at a time until desired shade of white is achieved.
