Ensure complete candle safety by adding these labels to the base of your made candle. The labels have safety information, as well as suggested burning guide and warnings.
- Ensure you have your warning labels, clean candles, and any necessary cleaning materials (e.g., rubbing alcohol and a cloth).
- The area where you will place the label must be clean and dry. Use rubbing alcohol and a cloth to wipe down the surface to remove any dirt, dust, or oils.
- Choose a flat, easily visible spot on the bottom or side of the candle. The bottom is typically preferred to keep the label discreet but still accessible.
- Carefully peel off the backing of the label without touching the adhesive part too much, to avoid losing its stickiness.
- Position the label in the desired spot. Ensure it is straight and centred. You can use a ruler or a piece of tape as a guide if necessary.
- Starting from the centre of the label, press it firmly onto the candle. Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles by moving outward from the centre towards the edges.
- Ensure all edges of the label are fully adhered to the candle. Press down on the edges if needed.
- Let the label set for a few minutes to ensure it adheres properly before handling the candle further.
- Ensure the warning labels are specific to candles and include important safety information, such as: Burn within sight. / Keep away from flammable objects / Keep away from children and pets.
- Make sure the label is placed where it will not be easily removed or damaged during normal use.
